The ZVW Group was founded in Flensburg in 2002 by Jens Ziesemer von Wildenradt .
However, its entrepreneurial roots go back much further.
Back in 1994 , Jens Ziesemer von Wildenradt took over his first company— his father Dieter Ziesemer's electrical installation business. This early responsibility laid the foundation for a deep understanding of craftsmanship, technology, commercial management, and project organization.
In the years that followed, Jens Ziesemer von Wildenradt ran a construction company together with his brother Jörg Ziesemer . At the same time, he began building up his own real estate portfolio at an early stage. Due to economic and structural conditions, the construction company was later reorganized commercially, which led to the brothers going their separate ways in business. Jörg Ziesemer still runs his own construction company today, while Jens has shifted his focus entirely to real estate .
A significant strategic development step was taken in 2007 by a long-standing Danish business partner. Through this collaboration, large investment property portfolios were successfully brokered to international investors over many years. This phase formed the economic basis for subsequently building up an extensive portfolio of investment properties .
Together with his wife Saskia von Wildenradt , these properties were developed largely independently, renovated using their own tradespeople, maintained, and professionally managed. During this period—particularly between 2008 and 2018— the group's companies employed up to 100 people in construction, engineering, administration, and property management at times .
With the gradual sale of a large part of the real estate portfolio, particularly between 2017 and 2019, the operating structures were deliberately and carefully scaled back. The number of employees was reduced in line with the strategic realignment.
In 2018 , the family decided to establish another home in Koh Samui, Thailand, in addition to their existing residence in Germany. Today, the family lives there most of the time, but still maintains a permanent residence in Germany and is regularly present there.
Today, the ZVW Group is organized as a family-run family office . The focus is no longer on labor-intensive operational growth, but on the strategic management of real estate, construction and project developments, and selected investments. The organization is deliberately kept lean and is managed primarily within the family, now supported by three of the four children.
The focus of the ZVW Group's activities has always been, and continues to be, clearly on real estate, construction, and project development, with a long-term, sustainable, and entrepreneurially responsible approach.
